  • Lodging is always included for Zone 3 and for any mountain-pass venue from November to April — weather never cancels your DJ.

How we learn your wedding

The music is the easy part. The planning is what makes the day feel like yours — and it's all included.

    Inquiry

    You send the date and venue. You hear back within 24 hours with availability and a straight price.

  2. 2

    Vibe call

    Twenty minutes on your story, the venue, guest count, the music you love, the music you never want to hear, whether you want a dedicated MC, and who's giving toasts.

  3. 3

    Lock the date

    A simple agreement and a $500 retainer. Your date is off the market — one wedding per day.

  4. 4

    Your planner opens

    An online wedding planner for must-plays, do-not-plays, ceremony and special-dance songs, name pronunciations, announcements, the timeline, and vendor contacts. Fill it at your pace.

  5. 5

    60 days out — music check-in

    A call to review the planner. Seeker builds your crate and any custom edit, delivered 30 days out for your approval.

  6. 6

    14 days out — final details

    Timeline locked minute by minute. Cue sheet sent to your venue, planner, photographer, and officiant. Venue advanced for load-in, power, sound limits, and curfew.

  7. 7

    Wedding day

    Arrive 90 minutes early (two hours with a ceremony), sound-check every system, coordinate with vendors, run the show. Afterwards: your Afterparty playlist and one request — a review.

The DJ is the music — and the cues

The DJ is the music. Reading the room, mixing, clean transitions, dinner volume versus dance-floor volume, filtering requests through your list, and pacing the night so the floor never empties. Every package also includes the announcements your timeline needs — the welcome, the grand entrance, handing the mic to toasts, releasing tables, the dances, cake, and send-off — read from the run sheet we build together.

A dedicated MC is the voice · add-on

A dedicated MC is a second person whose only job is the room: a full-time host who works the crowd, runs games and shout-outs, keeps energy up between moments, and handles the unexpected while the music keeps playing. Seeker partners with professional wedding hosts for this — add one to any package.

Most couples are happy with clean announcements and a DJ who lets the music do the talking. If you want a host who is part of the party, the add-on makes sure the music never waits for the voice and the voice never waits for the music.

The ceremony

Vows people can actually hear

  • A separate, battery-powered system at the ceremony site — fields, lakesides, and mountain overlooks with no power are fine. Wind-aware speaker placement and windscreens on every mic.
  • A lavalier on your officiant is how your vows get heard. A handheld for readings. A mic or DI for a guitarist or string player if you have one.
  • Thirty minutes of prelude music before the processional, free. Your coverage clock starts at the processional.
  • Cues for the processional (wedding party, parents and grandparents, then your entrance), the unity or signing moment, and the recessional — then straight into cocktail hour on the second zone.
  • The cue sheet goes to your officiant, planner, and photographer. Cues are rehearsed on the final-details call; rehearsal attendance is included in Full Day or available as an add-on.

Booking

The fine print, not fine

Retainer
$500 holds your date. Non-refundable, applied to your total.
Balance
Due 14 days before the wedding. Split it into two or three payments at no charge. Card, ACH, Venmo, or Zelle.
Cancellation
Retainer forfeited. Inside 30 days, 50% of the balance; inside 14 days, the full balance.
Rescheduling
One free date move within 12 months, subject to availability.
Overtime
$200 per hour, agreed with you or your planner before it starts.
Agreement
A written agreement for every wedding. Venue needs: one 20 A circuit within 50 feet of the DJ area (two with uplighting), an 8 × 8 ft level space, shade for outdoor booths.

Couples ask

Do you MC?

Every package includes the announcements your timeline needs, read from the run sheet we build together. If you want a full-time host working the room — games, shout-outs, big-energy intros — add a dedicated MC ($450) and pick the style.

Can guests make requests?

Your call: open requests, requests filtered through your do-not-play list, or none at all. We settle it on the vibe call.

What if something breaks?

A backup laptop, a second audio path, and spare cables come to every wedding. Seeker also keeps a short list of trusted Northern Colorado DJs who would step in with your complete plan in a true emergency.

Do you play explicit music?

Clean edits by default for the ceremony and dinner. The dance floor is your choice.

Can you mix Spanish-language, country, EDM, and throwbacks in one night?

That is the job. Open format means the crate is built around your guest list, not a genre.

How far in advance should we book?

May–October Saturdays book six to twelve months out. One wedding per day, so once your date is retained it is yours.

What do you wear?

A suit, or all black — tell us the dress code.

Do we need to feed you?

A vendor meal is appreciated on six-hour-plus days, never required.

Do you charge more for Saturdays or peak season?

No. The price on this page is the price.
